This summer, Best Software will ship the most significant update to MAS 90 and MAS 200 since Windows - MAS 90 and MAS 200 Version 4.0 is coming!

 

This release features a new architecture that will roll out incrementally, with changes coming for the General Ledger module first. Among those changes is the all-important GL account code expansion - to 10 segments and 32 characters. Also included:

 

One-step bank transfer in Bank Reconciliation

New company set-up wizard

Crystal Reports 9.0

ALE enhancements (export directly to Excel!)

Built-in payroll direct deposit

Whenever you upgrade a MAS 90 or MAS 200 installation, all Visual Integrator import and export jobs should be recompiled. If you upgrade without recompiling all Visual Integrator import and export jobs, you might see an Error 36 VIWREC 0110 when you run the jobs (as documented in BOSS entry 43022). To resolve the Error 36 VIWREC 0110, simply open the job in Import Job Maintenance, and click on the Compile button on the Configuration tab. The Compile button is visible only if the MAS user has Supervisor Rights.
