MAS 90 and MAS 200
customers with current Best Subscription Plans will be
receiving FAS Asset Accounting Select Edition CD
beginning next week. This software is a benefit (at no
additional charge!) of your Subscription Plan, and allows
users to enter up to 100 assets and maintain them
indefinitely. The FAS link to the MAS General Ledger is
also included.
The unlocking keys for
the FAS Link are included with the CD shipment. To obtain
unlocking keys for FAS Select, use the faxback form in
your autoshipment. Contact MCG if you have any questions
about installing or registering FAS Select.
Remember: The Version 4.0
upgrade, expected in November, 2003, will be shipped to
all MAS 90 and MAS 200 customers on current Best
Subscription Plans. If your system has third-party
add-ons, programming modifications, or customized reports,
those will probably need to be upgraded to 4.0 with your
MAS 90 or MAS 200 system. As always, MCG can help you
evaluate and prepare for your upgrade. |

To remove the wide black bar from
the header of standard MAS 90, MAS 200, and MAS 500 reports:
1. From Library Master Utilities,
select Report Format Maintenance.
2. Click Header to display the
sub-menu. Select company.
3. Locate the Shading section and
its four radio buttons: None, 25%, 50%, and 100%. For a lighter bar,
select 25% or 50%. To eliminate the bar, select None.
4. Click OK and view the report
format. The black bar at Company Name is gone or faded, depending on
your selection.
5. Perform the same steps to
eliminate or fade the bar on the Report Title instead of Company at
step 2.
6. Close Report Format
Maintenance. Print your favorite report to see the difference.
