The Update on Updates!
Tax Table
Updates for 2004 are now available for download on BOSS (Best
Online Support Services) at
http://support.bestsoftwareinc.com/mas/90ttu.cfm.
Changes will be posted as they become available, so check here
for additional changes. These updates may be used for
Library Master versions 3.7x and 3.6x.
Current FAS customers
can now download the FAS 2004.1 tax update at
www.bestsoftware.com/fasupdate, and CDs have begun shipping
to all supported FAS customers. CD shipments will continue
through early February. This release updates FAS fixed asset
software with the latest depreciation rules and IRS regulations,
plus it includes great new features like revised forms and
worksheets for tax year 2003 and the new FAS Audit Advisor
feature, which analyzes fixed asset data and highlights assets
with potential issues regarding IRS compliance.
The 2004 Rate Update for
StarShip is now available for immediate download. This update
supports the UPS, FedEx and Spee-Dee rate changes that went into
effect January 5, 2004. All customers current on the StarShip
Subscription Plan as of 1/1/2004 were sent an email with their
link and registration key, or visit

When MAS 90 and MAS 200
Version 4.0 is released, Import Master will no longer be
available or supported. See "Promotions" above and
take advantage of Best's rebate in Q1 to upgrade Import Master
to Visual Integrator, Best's flexible and powerful data import
and export tool. Visual Integrator can facilitate
seamless integration between MAS 90 or MAS 200 and any
ODBC-compliant data source without the need for an intermediary
data file, such as ASCII delimited or Microsoft Excel.
In 4.0, Visual Integrator
will be compatible with all modules, and jobs that import to or
export from General Ledger should experience significant
performance increase! |
