When registering Sage MAS 500 ERP for the first time or after performing any updates, such as adding additional user licenses, modules, or after renewing any maintenance and support agreements, please follow these basic steps:
- Log on to the Sage MAS 500 Desktop.
- Within the System Manager/Maintenance folder select the "Maintain Site" task.
- For first-time users, enter in the first nine characters of the customer's account number, the system manager serial number, and the system manager unlocking key. Save the task at this point.
- If the workstation has Internet access, click the "automatic Internet registration" button. This process will download the license string for the values entered in step 3. The license string will include all purchased modules, user counts, and the customer's current expiration date.
- Save the task as the last step before closing the Maintain Site task.
