Processing 1099's

January 31 is closing in fast and we all know what that means?it's nearly time to process 1099s and W-2s. We want your year-end processing to run as smoothly as possible. Please review the following carefully as it contains valuable information regarding 1099 and W-2 processing, in addition to tax
table updates (TTUs) for Sage MAS 90, Sage MAS 200, and Sage MAS 500 ERP systems.

Sage MAS 90 and 200
1099 and W-2 printing in addition to Magnetic Media Reporting for 2005 are available on versions 3.71, 3.72, 3.73, 4.0, 4.05, and 4.1?prior versions will not be supported.

For MAS 90 and MAS 200 Versions 3.71, 4.0, and 4.05 and MAS 200 SQL Versions 3.71 and 3.72, please download available programs for 1099s, W-2s, Magnetic Media, and Q1 Tax Table Updates (TTUs) from Sage?s support website at www.sagesoftwareonline.com. For MAS 90 and MAS 200 Version 4.1 and MAS 200 SQL Version 3.73, you?ll find these programs on your product CDs.

Install 1099s, W-2s, and Magnetic Media programs BEFORE printing or processing. Install Q1 TTUs AFTER W-2 forms have been created but BEFORE your first payroll run of 2006.

Sage MAS 500
1099 printing and Magnetic Media Reporting for 2005 are available on versions 6.1, 6.2, 6.3, and 7.0?prior versions will not be supported. Before processing 1099s on versions 6.1, 6.2, 6.3, and 7.0, you must download the December service pack or the monthly update, which includes 1099 updates. These downloads will be available in mid-December on the Sage MAS 500 support Web site
