The News
Sage MAS 500 Version 7.05, scheduled for release in October, is intended to serve many different purposes, including:
- A technology update to support the latest Microsoft releases of SQL Server 2005 and Visual Studio 2005. Additionally, the performance of Business Insights Explorer and Business Desktop is improved.
- Improvement of quick inquiry access throughout Sage MAS 500 with a new Context Preview option, available for 67 different functions throughout the system.
- Merging existing service packs and monthly updates onto the product CD to streamline the upgrade process for existing customers
- Providing a maintenance release for Sage MAS 500 7.0.
- Users will now have the ability to print main Help topics in PDF format. This will allow users to print focused information and distribute it as necessary to other employees.

SalesLogix Tips and Tricks
Forget to install Outlook first? Are you missing your "SLX" buttons in Outlook, or having trouble connecting to Outlook from SalesLogix?
If SalesLogix is installed before Outlook is installed or configured for the first time, the SalesLogix installation will not register the two files required to use Advanced Outlook Integration. To register these files, run the InstallOutlookIntegration.bat file in the SalesLogix folder.

What's New
Sage MAS 90, MAS 200, and MAS 500 users will notice a visible change to the Desktop in Sage MAS 90 and MAS 200 version 4.1 and Sage MAS 500 version 7.0. A new Information Center HTML page appears as the default home page for both Sage MAS desktops. The Information Center is a dynamically generated HTML page that provides a single information portal for all Sage Software products, and is updated regularly through your Internet connection. This page includes the following links and information:
- Customer information about all Sage Software products installed
- Links to training and support resources
- Announcements from Sage Software about the latest product innovations, releases, and events
- Tips and techniques for improving productivity
- Product notifications, alerts, and resolutions for known issues
- Ways for you to provide comments and feature recommendations
