Sage MAS 90 and MAS 200 Version 4.1 builds on the new framework created in Version 4.0, expanding it to the Sales Order Processing, Accounts Receivable, Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA), and Bank Reconciliation modules.

Version 4.1 brings dramatic improvements to the system’s usability, with streamlined workflow, personalized data entry, reports optimized for Crystal Reports in Sales Order Processing, Accounts Receivable, Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA), and Bank Reconciliation modules, flexible security enhancements, and more.

MCG clients with current Sage Subscription or Support Plans should have received the Version 4.1 update. Please do not install this upgrade without contacting MCG. We strongly recommend that our clients engage with MCG to perform upgrade-related services. MCG’s comprehensive upgrade planning process will ensure that your system is upgraded efficiently, with minimal downtime, so that you may begin putting the significant new features of the 4.1 to work in your business as soon as possible. 

We are eager for our clients to take advantage of the valuable features of Version 4.1. MCG technology specialists will do extensive testing on the release before recommending that our clients upgrade.

If you use any of the following features with your MAS 90 or MAS 200 system, special considerations may be required for your upgrade.

Third-party applications (i.e., add-ons from other Sage developers like JobOps, Scanco, or any EDI system)
Crystal Reports, particularly in Sales Order Processing, Accounts Receivable, RMA, or Bank Reconciliation
User-defined fields, or other features of the Custom Office module
Data imports or exports using the Visual Integrator or Import Master modules, including Dynalink integrations to SalesLogix
Forms may require changes
